Our 101 workshops offer an opportunity to learn, develop, and fine-tune key strength and power movements that produce a multitude of benefits for overall well-being. Join us to understand the fundamental principles and key points with our experienced fitness instructors, who will identify individual constraints and offer advice unique to you. After attending the 1-hour workshop, you will receive a one-on-one run-through of your programme, designed to practice what we covered in the workshop.
Learn the fundamentals of key gym exercises – power snatch, power clean, squat, bench and deadlift.

North Gym
All sessions are Tuesdays 1pm-2pm.
- 30 April - Deadlift (Ryo)
- 7 May - Bench Press (Ryo)
- 14 May - Squats (Ryo)
- 21 May - Power clean (Brad)
- 28 May - Power snatch (Brad)
The cost is $45 for non-students and $35 for AUT students.
This fee includes a one-hour workshop covering the topics mentioned above, as well as a half-hour program designed to delve deeper into the specific subject of that workshop.

- Graduate Diploma in Sport and Exercise
- Diploma in Fitness Training
- Olympic weightlifting expertise
- Strength and conditioning experience
Ryo - North Campus
Qualifications/strengths:
- Certificate in Personal Training
- First Aid qualified
- REPs registered
- Completing a Bachelor of Sport and Recreation
- S+C Coach at WBHS
- Hypertrophy training
